The UC Student Lobby Conference (SLC or Lobby Con) brings the membership together to lobby at the State Capitol on legislation that relates to higher education, and students. SLC provides opportunities to develop lobbying skills, refine student testimonials, directly engage elected officials on higher education and March on the Capitol.

The USSA Legislative Conference (LEGCON) is a three-day event that provides students at every level of organizing and leadership the ability and opportunity to learn new skills in student advocacy, network, lobby their elected representatives on student issues, march through historic downtown Washington, DC, rally on Capitol Hill, and of course build lifelong friendships. LegCon 2013 will take place March 15-18.(Note: This is the weekend before finals. We will be returning on Monday of FINALS)
