Advisory committees are vital to protecting the integrity of student opinion and self-determination. On these committees, devoted undergraduate leaders play an integral role in formulating policy and discussing critical issues for the University.
The committees cover a broad range of topics, from academic and administrative policy to planning new facilities and diving regulations. The SCOC, then, is charged with appointing and overseeing undergraduate representatives to these committees.
